i need one thats like the those on the LSZ71 models
i have looked on ebay already and i havnt found a single oem tailgate cap. i live out of the way, hence the reason i would like to get it off the internet.

Q: Chevy Silverado 2500 for sale and i want to buy?
Im looking at this chevy 2500 6.0 litre truck, it has 140,000 k miles on it. Its being sold for 7995 im stuck. Is this a good deal? It has leather int, with quad cab, 4×4. its a 2002 chevy 2500 6.0 litre truck, kelly blue book puts it at 12,000 in perfect condition, which its not, and yes i did put the milage on kbb.

Hi i found a silverado for sale for $5200 , its a 2000 standard model , 4.3
6cylinder , regular cab with air, its has only 52000 miles on it, 2 wheel drive, good deal ?
when i took it for a test drive heard water moving behind dash , what could that be? was told because it is so cold out -2 that it was anitfreeze moving into heater core? does that make sense?other than that truck drove good but needs a alignment, any advice appreciated

Q: Chevrolet silverado information?
Well I’ll be driving in less than a year and I want a truck I LOVE Chevy’s but I heard they tend to have brake problems? I guess I just want to know about that if you have one or other problems they might lead to have or even what you like about it. I wanted to know this because I was up north and there was a 98 chevy silverado for sale and my grandpa told me they had horrible braking systems.

A: On my Silverado I replaced the rotors and pads on front. On the rear I replaced the shoes and wheel cylinders. This was right about at 100k miles. It now has 177k miles and the brakes are still fine.

Q: Will my 4×4 transmission work for a 4×2?
I’ve got a 4L60E out of a 1995 Silverado for sale on eBay. The truck it came out of is a 1995 4×4 Silverado Z71 with a 305ci engine. The guy that wants it has a 1995 4×2 Silverado with a 305. Would all he need to do is get a different drive shaft? And would the one out of the 4×4 work with the rear end out of the 4×2?

A: no will not work because a 4×4 tranny takes the transfer case onto the back

Q: 1977 Chevy C20 Silverado Pickup 4×4 for $2500?
I’ve seen a 1977 Chevy C20 Silverado 4×4 on sale for $2500 and I’m wondering if it’s a good deal or not, it has a rebuilt 350 V8, 350TH, 4″ lift, 33″ tires, lots of new parts and it runs/drives great, body/interior are in good shape and the truck has a little bit of rust.

A: This is a hard question to answer. It really depends on the market where you live and also how much attention to detail there was during the time of installing the new parts. If it really is in good running condition and cosmetically in decent shape, it is werth every pennie. In some places that truck would be more like $6K, but then again in some place like in Las Vegas were I live most people only want to buy newer stuff. which is a bonus for people interested in the old stuff. It helps keep the price down. One thing is for sure everthing on that truck is easy to find and cheep. to rebuild the motor is around $1200, tranny $500, and tranfer case is also around $500. All the suspension is cheep because it went from 1973 through 1987 on almost every fullsize truck and suv that GM made. Infact the suvs were the same suspention through 91.

I am looking for a 98-02 Chevy Silverado Step-side pickup truck. Preferably black or blue in color and with 4×4. 8′ bed. with less than 50k miles. I can’t find one anywhere and I really, really want this truck!

Q: can i crank up the torsion bars on my 2006 silverado to level out the front end?
i just got a 2006 chevy silverado and i was wondering if i could tighten up the torsion bars to lift up the front end a bit.i dont want to lift it up alot,maybe an inch or two to level out the truck. i seen torsion keys for sale and they said it would lift up the front end,would the ride be rougher with those new keys installed?

A: Well the v6 will not tow around alot of weight….You should buy a 4×4 because resale is higher than a 2×4…..I,d get a duramax 2500….You,ll always have enough power and diesel is cheaper than gas.

A: Have you thought about trying to look on Craig’s List or even Auto Trader under the parts section. If your looking for that trany they go quick as you probably already know. You might think about getting your rebuilt though I know that will cost a fortune too. But it is an alternative. Then you would at least know what you have.
